Awkward yet amiable, Amanda Kruel finds humor in places no one wanted to look for it.

From cheesy to obscure to dark, her comedy tackles daily life, relationship dynamics, and mental health. She shares her insecurities and ideas, folding in personal stories and shamelessly peppering wordplay throughout. A creative contrarian, she is always eager to share her wit and wonderment with the world.

In her 5 years performing, Amanda Kruel has shared the stage with comedians featured on Amazon, Netflix, and SNL. Recently she has featured on Don’t Tell shows in 4 cities and performed in the North Carolina & Blue Ridge comedy festivals. A finalist in the Jersey Hustle Comedy Competition, she also won Tiny Stage Comedy’s one-liner contest and was awarded an artist residency at East Austin Comedy Club. She regularly tours the southeast in addition to hosting and producing shows where she lives in Knoxville, Tennessee.
