This is a website from the golden age of the internet in the late 90s before ads. In particular, this has information about visual effects in movies from 1994-1998.
You may not think there's anything special about those years, but there may not have been a more pivotal period for effects in the industry. Physical VFX, gore, and makeup reaching new heights; with computer generated imagery just starting to become believable.
Think about 1996, for example:
The Nutty Professor. Multiplicity. Twister. Independence Day. Mars Attacks! Space Jam. Kazaam. Matilda. Mission: Impossible.
While they don't all have detailed articles, there's enough worth checking out. And imagine: a website with NO ADS.
Name Trends is one of my favorite websites. Look up names like Hillary, Melania, Naomi, Adolf, Taylor, Harris, even Clinton. Look up your own name. Despite this day and age of googling (or asking AI), this is a URL to remember. Nametrends.net
I probably should spending less time watching movies and TV shows, but that's not going to happen. The good news is that I can spend less time searching for movies and TV shows to watch using the website Just Watch. Plug in the title of any movie or show, and they'll tell you where it's streaming. They've got everything. JustWatch.com
